Saint Christina the Astonishing Prayer Doll
Saint Christina the Astonishing is the patron saint of those suffering from mental disorders, health care workers for the mentally ill, and millers. She lived in the 1100's in Belgium, and her feast day is celebrated on July 24.
Prayer dolls make lovely Easter basket and Christmas stocking stuffers, sacramental gifts, or just a reminder to pray.
- Approximately 9" tall by 3" wide
- Hand printed on 100% satin
- Machine washable (wash cold, tumble dry low)
so soft and so heartfelt, i love the prayer on the back too
It is exactly how it looked. St Christina the Astonishing is my patron saint. Her feast day is July 24, so Thought it the perfect occasion to buy myself this little doll. Taking it out of the packaging I realised it was very soft and plush, and more endearing, like a child's stuffed animal. It's on my bed. This makes the prayer on the back readily available to me at nighttime or in the morning. What a great idea! I want to get these for gifts for friends. And a great way to spread the faith.
